- The competitor’s quote must be for the same or comparable items and services.
- Example: A bid for a frame tent cannot be compared to a quote for a popup tent.
- Similarly, add-ons (like delivery or setup) must also be considered when comparing quotes.
- Quote must be for the same dates, times, delivery locations, and items.
2. Legally Compliant
- They must charge applicable sales tax on their invoices, as required by law.
- They must be a legitimate company in good standing with the Secretary of State.
What’s Not Covered
- Quotes from companies operating without proper legal compliance.
- Items or services that are not equivalent in quality, size, or value.
Submitting a Price Match Request
To request a price match, please provide the following:
- A copy of the competitor’s official quote or invoice.
- Details of the products and services included in the competitor’s quote for comparison.
